A study on co-combustion reaction performance of rape straw and lignite
This study makes an investigation of the co-combustion performance of rape straw and lignite.First, rape straw was heat-treated at different temperatures(300,400,500℃).Then,the heat-treated rape straw was mixed into lignite in a certain proportion. The structural differences of heat-treated rape straw were analyzed by SEM,FT-IR,XRD and other characterization methods. At the same time, the combustion reaction performance of heat-treated rape straw and its blends with lignite was investigated by thermogravimetric analyzer, and the synergistic effect between the blends was analyzed and compared. The results showed that the combustion reaction performance of heat-treated rape straw is decreased due to the decomposition and precipitation of volatile matter. With the increase of heat treatment temperature, aliphatic groups and oxygen-containing functional groups are decrease, and stable aromatic compounds increase relatively. The blends of heat-treated rape straw and lignite show combustion hysteresis. With the increase of rape straw treatment temperature, the combustion weight loss peak of the volatiles of the blends is gradually weakened, while the weight loss rate of fixed carbon combustion is the smallest at 500℃,and the temperature corresponding to the maximum weight loss rate is not much different. When the heat treatment temperature is higher than 400℃,the synergistic effect of combustion between the blends is significantly weakened.
