Based on the investigation and monitoring results of river discharge outlets in Hohhot City from 2020 to 2023,an in-depth analysis was conducted on the layout,water quality monitoring,current water environment quality status,and reasons for non-compliance of water quality in the city.Furthermore,practical and feasible regulatory mea-sures and countermeasures were proposed for river discharge outlets,providing strong support for optimizing urban wa-ter environment quality and promoting the overall improvement of the ecological environment in the Yellow River Basin.
