Ecological Protection and Restoration Measures for the Mountains,Rivers,Forests,Farmlands,Lakes,and Grasslands in the Yimeng Mountain Area
The Yimeng Mountain area is a crucial part of the national ecological security strategy,serving as the backbone of significant river systems(the Yellow River and the Huai River)and a key ecological function zone.It is located within the planning scope of the national strategy for ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River basin.The ecological mainstay of this region is water source conservation,making it an important barrier for national ecological security and a vital area for the safety of national agricultural product supply.This paper analyzes the natural overview and existing ecological issues of the Yimeng Mountain area and discusses measures for ecological protection and restoration of mountains,rivers,forests,farmlands,lakes,and grasslands to ensure ecological safety within the region,maintain the functions of the ecosystem services,and enhance the capacity for ecological product supply.
