This paper takes Nanmu Forestry Bureau of Hulunbuir City as an example to summarize the key technical process of using ArcGIS tools such as fusion,clipping,and intersection for the assessment of degraded forest background.This method has the advantages of high efficiency and high accuracy.Its technical methods and ideas can be extended to other similar work,in order to provide technical reference for more surveys and assessments.
