Current Status of Wetland Resources and Sustainable Development Strategies in the Yellow River Basin of Inner Mongolia
The Yellow River Basin is an important wetland ecological function area in Inner Mongolia and one of China's important ecological security barriers,possessing significant ecological functions and values.This paper starts from the perspective of wetland resource protection and utilization,analyzes the current status of wetland resources in the Yellow River Basin of Inner Mongolia,and summarizes the current issues such as the shrinkage of wetland areas,water resource scarcity,and weak public awareness of protection.Strategies such as enhancing the ecological function of the Yellow River Basin wetlands,establishing a diversified investment mechanism,reasonably allocating water resources,and strengthening wetland education and publicity are proposed,aiming to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the wetlands in the Yellow River Basin of Inner Mongolia.
