Natural Ecological Quality Evaluation of Qinghua Green Peafowl Provincial Nature Reserve in Weishan
Based on the ecological quality evaluation method for wildlife type nature reserves in the Technical Specification for Ecological Quality Evaluation of Nature Reserves(LY/T 1813-2009),and using the biodiversity baseline survey data of Qinghua Green Peafowl Provincial Nature Reserve in Weishan as the foundation,this paper evaluates the natural ecological quality of the reserve using six indicators:typicality,rarity,naturalness,appropriate area,vulnerability,and intensity of human activities.The results show that the total score of the natural ecological quality evaluation of the reserve is 74.3,with a grade of Level Ⅱ,indicating good natural ecological quality.According to the evaluation results of individual indicators,the scores for rarity,naturalness,and intensity of human activities are relatively high,while the scores for typicality and vulnerability are relatively low,and the score for appropriate area is the lowest.Based on the evaluation results of the natural ecological quality of the reserve,this paper analyzes the existing problems in the reserve,and proposes suggestions for strengthening protection publicity and management,coordinating the relationship between protection and community development,continuously advancing biodiversity monitoring and scientific research,improving environmental protection facilities,and improving the habitat environment of the green peafowl,aiming to provide a scientific basis for the long-term management of the reserve and the protection of biodiversity.
