Wetland identification is an essential foundational work for the protection,restoration,and monitoring management of wetlands.This paper introduces the process and methods of general wetland identification in Menghai County,Yunnan Province,analyzes the identification results,and proposes strategies and measures to increase wetland area and improve the rate of wetland protection.The aim is to provide references and insights for county-level general wetland identification and protection and restoration management work.
