Newly Discovered Wild Plant Species and Their Landscape Application in Ordos City
Field investigations were conducted on the wild plant resources in the Dongsheng District Forest Park of Ordos City,and a total of 238 wild plant species were identified,belonging to 62 families and 158 genera.Among them,there are 28 new distribution species,14 new distribution genera,and 4 new distribution families in Ordos City.Based on the characteristics of the plants and the requirements for greening,5 wild plants that meet the greening requirements and have certain resistances were selected from the new distribution species.Their ornamental traits,ecological habits,landscape uses,and development and utilization values were analyzed,with the aim of providing a scientific basis for the protection,development,and application of local wild plant resources.
