Impact of Water and Fertilizer Coupling on the Growth of Limonium Bicolor
Limonium bicolor,a common wild plant resource in northern China,is known for its easy propagation, simple and extensive management, long flowering period,salt-alkali tolerance, and drought resistance, making it widely applicable in the landscape greening of Ordos City. This study investigates the growth and condition of Limonium bicolor under different water and fertilizer conditions.Through pot experiment settings with various irrigation and fertilization treatments, the study explores the impact of water and fertilizer coupling on the growth of Limonium bicolor to further understand its growth habits and provide management data for future introduction in the landscape greening of Ordos City. The results indicate that increased water and fertilization are beneficial to the growth of Limonium bicolor, with the optimal growth conditions achieved at a soil water content of 28%and an N fertilization rate of 42 ppm.
