Growth Rate Model Development for Main Tree Species(Groups)in Eastern Inner Mongolia
This study utilized the continuous forest resource inventory data from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2013 and 2018 to establish individual tree diameter growth rate models for the main tree species(groups)in Eastern Inner Mongolia. The results indicated that the correlation index(R2)for the diameter growth rate models of 12 tree species(groups)all reached above 0.90;the estimated precision(P)all achieved more than 91%,and the total relative bias(TRB)for the 12 species(groups)was within±3%;the mean systematic bias(MSB)was within±5%except for the artificial larch with 7.22%.The fitting results of the diameter growth rate models for the 12 species(groups)were satisfactory.Based on this, the volume growth rate models for 12 species(groups)were established, which can provide a basis for forest resource data updating, forestry policy formulation, and the compilation of related plans.
