Research and Utilization of Germplasm Resources of Acer truncatum
Acer truncatum is a native woody oil tree species that integrates ecological,ornamental and economic values.This paper summarized the key research of Acer truncatum in recent years,including germplasm resources collection,variety selection and breeding technology,genetic diversity analysis,molecular mechanisms of impor-tant traits,resource development and utilization.Through summarizing and analyzing,the paper pointed out that current research of Acer truncatum had problems such as unclear germplasm resources,imperfect resource evalua-tion system,lack of oil varieties,and lag cultivation technology and mechanization.In the future research,it is nec-essary to pay attention to the innovative use of wild germplasm resources,variety orientation breeding based on mo-lecular assisted breeding technology,and to explore the stable and high yield modernization cultivate modes,in or-der to provide scientific basis for the efficient utilization and promote the industrial development of Acer truncatum resources.
