Effects of AMF and EMF on Litter Nutrients and Soil Nutrients
To study the effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)and ectomycorrhizal fungi(EMF)on litter nutrients and soil nutrients, and explore the important significance of mycorrhizal fungi in nutrient absorption and fixation of forest trees, and provide a basis for the selection and application of mycorrhizal fertilizers in seedling cul-tivation and afforestation in forestry production, the present study took two arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)tree spe-cies(Fraxinus mandschurica,Juglans mandshurica)and three ectomycorrhizal(EM)tree species(Pinus koraien-sis,Betula platyphylla,Larix gmelinii)as the research objects.Mycorrhizal fungi were inhibited by benomyl, and unsterilized(M+)and sterilized(M-)treatments were set up to determine the effects of AMF and EMF on litter nutrients and soil nutrients. The results showed that:(1)AMF significantly increased the release of nitrogen(N)from litter, decreased the N content and carbon nitrogen ratio(C/N)in litter, and the N content decreased by 11.33 g.kg-1 at 90 days.EMF significantly inhibited the release of litter carbon(C),and the C content in M+was 20.79 g.kg-1 higher than that in M-at 90 days.(2)At 90 days, the soil total carbon(TC),total nitrogen(TN),carbon nitrogen ratio(TC/TN),carbon phosphorous ratio(TC/TP),and nitrate nitrogen(NO3--N)content of AM tree species showed M+>M-,while there was no consistency among the three EM species.while ammonium nitrogen(NH4+-N)and NO3--N in the M+treatment of EM tree species were numerically higher than M-,and other soil nutrient indicators were no consistency among the three EM species.(3)The effects of AMF on soil TC,TN,total phosphorous(TP),TC/TN,NO3--N,available phosphorous(AP)were significantly positively correlated with lit-ter C and N,and the effects on soil NH4+-N were significantly and negatively correlated with litter C and N,while there was no significant correlation between the changes in soil nutrient content of EMF and litter nutrients. It can be seen that AMF symbiotic with forest trees accelerated the release of litter N while increasing most of the soil nutrient contents, and EMF inhibited the release of litter C and had a weaker effect on soil nutrients improvement.
