Effect of different cultivation densities on the growth of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings
In order to improve the quality and afforestation effect of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings, different cultivation densities were conducted on Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings in large fields. The experimental results showed that cultivation density had a significant effect on the seedling height, ground diameter, biomass, and seed-ling quality index value of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings(P<0.05).The height to diameter ratio increased with the increase of cultivation density.Under the conditions of this experiment, the height, ground diameter,bio-mass per plant, and quality index value of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings all showed a negative correlation with cultivation density.Based on the comprehensive experimental data, the optimal cultivation density for Cunning-hamia lanceolata seedlings was 70 plants.m-2.The quality index value of seedlings under this density could reach up to 0.16,and the biomass per plant could reach 16.36 g,which provided an effective reference for the cultivation of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings.
