COMPARISON OF METEOROLOGICAL ELEMENTS SPATIAL INTERPOLATION METHODS IN INNER MONGOLIA
A comprehensive analysis and comparison of optimized spatial interpolation methods was made to interpolate the average annual rainfall, relative humidity and atmospheric temperature from 1971 -2009 by multivariable regression, trend, ordinary Kriging, inverse distance weighted and Radial Basis Functions in Inner Mongolia region. The results showed; OK with Tetraspherical and Rational Quadratic as semivariogram model is optimal spatial interpolation method in the process of imitating the spatial data trend of average annual rainfall and relative humidity respectively, RBF with Multiquadric functions as kernel function is optimal spatial interpolation method about average annual atmospheric temperature.
