CORRELATION ANALYSIS AND PATH ANALYSIS ON MAJOR AGRONOMIC TRAITS OF MILLET
The correlation analysis and path analysis on major agronomic traits related to yield of middle and late mature group of the national regional test in spring millet area of Northeast China in 2012 were carried out.The results showed that the grain weight per ear、single ear weight and Mu ear number were the main factors related to yield per plant,then the emergence-heading、growth period、plant height and grain rate.The direct contribution of agronomic traits to yield was in the following order:grain weight per ear ＞ 1000 -grain weight ＞ Mu ear number ＞ single ear weight ＞ emergence-heading ＞ ear length ＞ growth period ＞ heading-maturity ＞ grain rate.
