Experimental Study on Potato Harvester Debris Removal Device
To address the issues of low efficiency in potato debris removal and a high incidence of potato injury,an indoor experiment was conducted on a potato debris removal device to identify the optimal operational parameters. The speed of seedling removing roll-er,the frequency of shaking wheel, and the length of seedling stopper were taken as the test factors, and the influence of different factors on the removal rate and skin-breaking rate was investigated through the one-factor test.Subsequently,a response surface methodology was utilized to further explore the interactions among the factors and their collective effects on the de-vegetation rate and skin-breaking rate. The optimal working program of the de-hybridization device was determined by using the expectation function method. The results indicated that when the speed of the de-hybridization roller was 125.5 r/min,the frequency of the shaking wheel was 2.4 Hz,and the length of the seedling blocking rod was 280 mm,the de-hybridization rate was 91.03%,and the rate of skin-breaking was 3.14%,which met the requirements of the de-hybridization of potatoes.
