The relationship between Manchu and Han had always been an important clue affecting the process of social development during the reign of the Qing Dynasty of 268 years,which not only determined the rise and fall of the Qing Dynasty to a large extent but also had a profound impact on the trend of modern China.This paper sum-marizes the research home and abroad in four parts.The first part deals with the basic context of the development of research history.The second to the fourth part include three themes:the relationship between Manchu and Han be-fore the Qing Dynasty,the relationship between Manchu and Han centered on Banner system,the relationship be-tween Manchu and Han from Opium War to Xinhai period.The relationship between Manchu and Han during the Republic of China is also mentioned.Conclusion is made from six aspects:research stage,research content,re-search method,research perspective,data analysis and concept clarification.
