Yigu Biography in Qing History Draft is the only official personal biography.Compared to the copy collected in Taipei"Palace Museum"and other versions,it is found that although the author of the biography was not clearly recorded,it was modified without permission before printing.The biography,supplemented by some archives,takes the Record of the Qing Dynasty as the main historical source,in which there are some omissions.The historical image of Yigu has changed constantly under the influence of different times,from the"corrupt official"in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China to the"right-hand man"loyal to the Qing Court in the Qing History Draft,and finally to the"great man of southern Gobi"befitting people in the Republic of China.Qing History Draft plays an important reversal role in the evolution of the historical image of Yigu.
