Guyang County in Baotou City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was established in the Repub-lic of China,which was developed from Guyang Administration Bureau.There are different opinions in contempora-ry historical works about the founding time of Guyang Administration Bureau and the time that was changed into Guyang County.There are two main views:one is 1919 for Bureau and 1926 for County;the other is 1920 and 1923.Obviously,there is a big difference between the two views.Through analysis of the first-hand authoritative data,Guyang Administration Bureau should be founded in 1919 and changed into Guyang County in 1923 which accords with historical facts.
