The Rescue of Japanese Children,Who Were on the Way to Escape,by Chinese People after the Victory of the Anti-Japanese War——An Analysis Based on Oral Accounts
With the complete defeat of the Japanese imperialist war of aggression against China,more than 200,000"Manchurian agricultural immigrants"and other unarmed Japanese began a disorderly escape.Many of them,women and children,were saved by local people in northeast China.After being rescued by Chinese people,some children returned to their home country successfully while others stayed and integrated into Chinese families and society who were called"Chinese residual orphans".Based on the oral accounts of the people involved,this paper restores the historical facts of the Chinese assistance to Japanese children after the victory of the Anti-Japa-nese War.
