Application of Litho Scanner Logging in Accurately Identifying Lithology
For unconventional reservoirs and complex lithologic reservoirs,it is difficult to accurately i-dentify lithology and obtain formation parameters using conventional logging curves.Litho Scanner logging can provide element content in the formation through direct measurement of elements in the formation.For specific rocks(Clastic rock,carbonate,etc.),the content of different mineral components in the formation can be calculated through element content to accurately identify lithology,Identify Chlorite group,mont-morillonite,Illite,Albite,quartz,Calcite,dolomite,Pyrite and other formation minerals and their con-tents in the formation,and complete the evaluation of formation rock minerals.
