Further Discussion on Several Northern Bronze Plaques Donated by Rewi Alley
In the 1980s,foreign friend Rewi Alley donated a batch of collection to Shandan County,Zhangye City,Gansu Province.This article selects 5 Northern bronze plaques and combines with the existing archaeological data,re-explores their age and cultural origins.The results indicate that the age distribution of these bronze plaques dates back to four hundred years from the late Spring and Autumn period to the mid Western Han period,with different cultural sources,corresponding to different group and ethnicity.
