A Study on the Pottery House Model of Tomb No.117 in Jinshashan Ancient Tomb Group
As an essential architectural burial objects,the pottery house model emerged under the influence of Confucian filial piety and funeral concepts such as thick burial,and together with bronze,jade,gold,and silver,the pottery house model also serves as a symbol of the tomb owner's identity and wealth.In addition to reflecting the architectural techniques of the time,it also offers information into funeral customs and associated culture.This study focuses on the pottery house model excavated from Tomb No.117 of the Jinshashan Ancient Tomb Group,analyzing the name,function,and overall structure of the single building,to provide further reference for the investigation of political,economic,and cultural exchanges between Yunnan and the Central Plains during the Han Dynasty.
