Abstract
A stone tablet"Yan Jue Liu Bi"(means eradicating malpractices strictly)during the 23rd year of Daoguang reign was found in Baotou,recorded a case in which merchants sued a local official and ended with the official resigned and his subordinates been removed from office.It also specified the regulations and established the Jiatou.The stone tablet is of great significance for studying the commerce of Baotou Town and the litigation of the Qing Dynasty.
