A Brief Analysis of the Burial Receptacle of Xiongnu Nobles
Since the official excavation of Xiongnu tombs in the late 19th century,there have been numerous archaeological discoveries and research results related to them.The focus of discussion on aristocratic tombs is mainly on the form of tombs and the analysis of unearthed objects,with little research on burial receptacles.The burial receptacle used in the tombs of the Xiongnu nobles were all multiple coffins,but there were differences in structure,decoration,and other aspects.This article intends to analyze the differences between the burial receptacle of the Xiongnu nobles and the cultural factors they contain from the above perspective,and explore the cultural exchanges between the Xiongnu and Han,and other surrounding nomadic nationalities.
