Research on Fu-Cauldrons with Transverse Plate Ear
Fu-Cauldrons with transverse Plate Ear appeared in the Liao Dynasty,prevalent in the Jin Dynasty,and declined in the Yuan Dynasty.Its direct source was Fu-Cauldrons with transverse ear that appeared during the Sixteen Kingdoms period,and its earliest source was the jar-shaped Fu-cauldrons of the Han Dynasty.It has a large caliber,deep belly,and may be used for cooking cattle and sheep.Its main users are northern nomadic groups such as Jurchen,and its distribution covered the areas ruled by the Jin people,but was not found in the areas ruled by the Northern and Southern Song dynasties.
