Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Sanjin Paishi decoction combined with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy in the treatment of upper ureteral calculi.Methods:60 patients with upper ureteral calculi treated in our hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were randomly divided into two groups according to the method of rolling dice. The operation group was treated with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, and the combined group was treated with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy combined with Sanjin Paishi de-coction.The pain score, time index, clinical efficacy and complications before and after treatment were evaluated. Results:Compared with the pain score, there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but it was lower in the combination group than in the operation group after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the time index, the time index of the combined group was shorter than that of the operation group(P<0.05).Compared with the clinical curative effect, the clinical effect in the combined group was higher than that in the operation group(P<0.05).Compared with the occurrence of complications, the incidence of complications in the combined group was slightly less than that in the operation group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:The application of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy combined with Sanjin Paishi decoction can not only reduce the pain of patients with upper ureteral calculi, but also improve the clinical effect, accelerate the excretion of stones to the body, and have fewer complications.
