Perimenopausal depression(PMD)refers to a mental disorder that occurs in women during perimenopause,manifested as emo-tional disorders,slow thinking,and easy to have symptoms of low mood and anxiety.In recent years,with the continuous development of social economy,the pressure faced by women has increased significantly,resulting in a significant increase in the incidence of PMD,which seriously threatens women's life and health and quality of life.The disease belongs to the categories of"Yuzheng","Dirty Mania"and"Lily Disease"in traditional medicine of the motherland.Compared with Western medicine hormone and antidepressant drug treat-ment,traditional Chinese medicine treatment has obvious advantages,but clinical dialectical treatment of each medical practitioner has its own advantages in the understanding and treatment of this disease,through literature summary found that most doctors believe that the disease is mainly in the liver and kidneys,the root cause is depletion,kidney deficiency,the main cause is kidney deficiency and liver depression,according to the classic theory of traditional Chinese medicine"Hepatorenal homologous"theory,this paper summarizes the clinical effect of some doctors from the method of nourishing kidney and liver thinning to treat perimenopausal depression,In order to pro-vide some ideas for the future clinical defense of perimenopausal depression.
