Objective:To observe the curative effect mechanism of jiang ya ding xuan pian with extend release nifedipine tablets on pa-tients of essential hypertension(EH).Methods:A total of 72 EH patients were observed according to the diagnosis criteria.They were di-vided into two groups at random.The control group were treated by extend release nifedipine tablets,while patients in the treatment group were treated by jiang ya ding xuan pian.The course of treament lasted one months,then the curative effect and security of jiang ya ding xuan pian were observed.Results:In the treatment group,the clinical efficacy rate were more remarkably better than in control group,and the difference was significant between the two groups(P＜0.01 or P＜0.05).The level of SBP and DBP in treatment group were reduced more remarkably than in control group,The level of dihydrotheelin estradiol in treatment group were raised more remarkably than in con-trol group,The level of AASI in treatment group were improved more remarkably than in control group.Conclusions:Jiang ya ding xuan pi-an could improve the clinical symptoms and the level of dihydrotheelin estradiol;AASI about the EH patients.
