Observation on the curative effect of embedding beans in auricular point combined with acupoint application in the treatment of nausea and vomiting after thoracolumbar fracture
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of embedding beans at auricular point combined with acupoint application on nau-sea and vomiting after general anesthesia operation for thoracolumbar fracture. Methods:A total of 60 patients with thoracolumbar fracture in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of Nanzhang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected, and all of them were treated under general anesthesia with postoperative nausea and vomiting. All cases were randomly divided into observation group and control group,30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated by embedding beans in auricular points combined with acupoint application, while the control group was treated by conventional antispasmodic and antiemetic methods. The frequency,de-gree and effective rate of nausea and vomiting were compared between the two groups on the 1st,2nd,3rd,4th and 5th day after surgery. Results:The frequency, degree and effective rate of postoperative nausea and vomiting in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Auricular bean embedding combined with acu-point application can significantly improve the symptoms of nausea and vomiting in patients with thoracolumbar fracture after general anesthesia operation, and it is worth popularizing and applying.
