Clinical Study of Ziyin Runchang Recipe in the Treatment of Yin Deficiency Syndrome of Functional Constipation
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Ziyin Runchang recipe in the treatment of functional constipation with yin defi-ciency syndrome.Methods:From January 2022 to July 2023,92 patients with functional constipation Yin deficiency syndrome in the sec-ond affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into control group(n=45)and obser-vation group(n=47).The control group was treated with lactulose oral solution and the observation group was treated with Ziyin Runchang recipe for 4 weeks.The scores of main clinical symptoms,the score of quality of life scale,the total score of TCM syndrome,anorectal pressure,clinical efficacy and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the scores of main clinical symptoms,the score of quality of life scale,the total score of TCM syndrome,the threshold of first sensation,the threshold of first defecation,the threshold of strong defecation and the threshold of maximum tolerance ca-pacity in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05),especially in the observation group(P＜0.05).Anal resting pressure and anal systolic pressure in both groups were higher than those in this group(P＜0.05).The increase in the observation group was more obvious(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Ziyin Runchang recipe can safely and effectively relieve the main clinical symptoms of functional constipation with yin deficiency syndrome,improve the quality of life,improve TCM syndromes,increase anal resting pressure,anal systolic pressure,reduce rectal sensory threshold,and the clinical effect is satisfactory.the incidence of adverse reactions is low,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
