Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Fuyuan Huoxue decoction combined with PKP in the treatment of OVCF.Methods:64 OVCF patients who were admitted to the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the first affiliated Hospital of An-hui University of traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to June 2023 were randomly divided into control group(n=32)and obser-vation group(n=32).The control group was treated with PKP combined with routine anti-osteoporosis treatment,while the observation group was treated with oral Fuyuan Huoxue decoction on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,pain visual analogue score(VAS),bone mineral density(BMD)measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA)and modified dysfunction index questionnaire(modified ODI)were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the improvement of pain,lumbar DXA bone mineral density T value and modified ODI within 3 months in the observation group were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Fuyuan Huoxue decoction combined with PKP can accelerate the clinical healing of OVCF,improve the symptoms of pain and improve the quality of life of elderly patients.
