Analysis of the Therapeutic Effect of Floating Needle combined with Quadriceps Training in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of floating needle combined with quadriceps training in the treatment of knee osteoar-thritis.Methods:A total of 86 patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Foshan Foxing Chancheng Hospital from January 2023 to June 2023 were included and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group.The control group was given quadriceps training,and the observation group was given floating needle treatment for 4 weeks.The pain visual ana-logue scale(VAS)score,knee joint rating scale(Lysholm)score,Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)score,and joint range of motion were compared between the two groups,and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was statistically analyzed.Results:After treatment,the VAS scores,WOMAC scores and total scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the Lysholm scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the flexion,dorsiflex-ion,adduction and abduction angles of the two groups were increased compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05);the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Floating needle combined with quadriceps training can relieve clinical symptoms and restore knee joint function in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
