Research Progress on Massage Treatment of Breast Diseases Telated to"Blocked Milk Channels"
Blockage of the milk collaterals is one of the important pathological bases for the onset of many breast-related diseases.Promoting qi and removing accumulation,and unblocking the milk collaterals are the general principles of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of breast diseases.From the perspective of modern medicine,blockage of the milk collaterals is highly correlated with lesions of the milk ducts and breast lobes.There are many methods for traditional Chinese medicine to treat blockage of the milk collaterals,and massage is one of the important means.By unblocking the milk collaterals through massage,the goals of"unblocking,reaching,loosening,and softening"can be achieved.This article summarizes the research.on the treatment of breast hyperplasia,mastitis,postpartum milk deficiency,and breast cancer surgery-related diseases with massage as the main means,and summarizes the characteristics of manual treatment of breast diseases,in order to broaden the ideas for the treatment of breast diseases.
