Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Panlong moxibustion on Yang-deficiency chronic constipation.Methods:80 patients with chronic constipation were included and divided into control group(40 cases)and moxibustion group(40 cases)according to ran-dom number table method.The control group was treated with lactulose oral liquid,and moxibustion group was treated with moxibustion with ginger and moxibustion for 4 weeks on this basis,and the clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,constipation severity and quality of life be-fore and after treatment were compared.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate of moxibustion group was 90.00％,which was higher than that of control group 72.50％(P＜0.05).The scores of TCM syndrome score,constipation Clinical score Scale(CCS),constipation Symp-tom Self-rating Scale(PAC-SYM)and constipation Patients'Quality of Life Scale(PAC-QOL)in the moxibustion group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The moxibustion with dried ginger and Panlong is effective in treating chronic constipation with Yang deficiency.It can reduce TCM syndrome score and symptom severity and improve the quality of life.
