Objective:To study the distribution of TCM syndrome elements and syndrome types of recurrent urinary tract infection in elderly women,so as to provide objective basis for optimizing diagnosis and treatment plan and guiding clinical syndrome differentiation and treat-ment.Methods:The clinical data of 200 elderly women with recurrent urinary tract infection were collected,and the frequency analysis and cluster analysis were carried out to summarize the TCM syndrome elements and syndrome type distribution law of elderly women with recur-rent urinary tract infection.Results:The syndromes of 200 elderly women with recurrent urinary tract infection included damp-heat,Yang deficiency,blood stasis,Yin deficiency,Qi deficiency and qi stagnation.TCM syndrome types are:spleen-kidney Yang deficiency,damp-ness-stasis interjunction syndrome;Spleen-kidney Yang deficiency,dampness-heat syndrome;Qi and Yin deficiency,dampness-heat syn-drome;Liver depression and spleen deficiency,dampness-heat syndrome;Yin deficiency of liver and kidney,dampness-heat syndrome.Conclusion:The recurrent urinary tract infection in elderly women is the syndrome of deficiency with deficiency and insufficiency.The treat-ment should be considered from many aspects,such as warming Yang and removing dampness,promoting blood circulation,invigorating qi and Yin,soothing liver and spleen,nourishing liver and kidney,and the law of clearing heat and removing dampness should be carried out throughout.
