Zhu Xi was a famous Neo-Confucianist and educator in the Southern Song Dynasty,and he was the epitome of Neo-Confu-cianism in the Song Dynasty.In education,he extensively drew on the experience of predecessors and was good at summarizing his own experience.He has made outstanding achievements in college education,educational theory,teaching methods,and other aspects.This has important implications for the modernization of Chinese style higher education in the new era to take root in China,promote the compre-hensive development of students,and improve the modernization of higher education governance.
