Once Su Shi's Prelude to Water Melody was published,it was highly praised and widely spread even overseas.It was deeply loved by the local literati in Korea and Japan.Korean literati took it as a model to use its words and sentences,imitate its artistic conception,write and reply in poems,using the same rhyming sequence,or express the contradiction between worldly and unworldly thoughts,or repose profound emotions of homesickness.This word has been recorded many times in poetry talks to express the thought of"loving the monarch",which promoted the widespread spread of Su Shi and this poem in Korea.With the help of books such as Ciji,Cixuan and Cipu,Japanese literati got to know the poem.Mori Kainan,Takeshi Takano,Chikukei Morikawa and others have created the same theme,interacting and resonating with Su Shi emotionally,reflecting the process of acceptance of Prelude to Water Melody by the Japanese literati.
