Research on the Impact of Regime Environment on the Trade Efficiency of China's Aquatic Products Export to RCEP Countries:An Empirical Analysis Based on the Time-varying Stochastic Frontier Gravity Model
Based on the data from 2010-2020 in UN-Comtrade database,the authors explore the impact of regime environment on the trade efficiency of China's aquatic products export to the RCEP countries by using the time-varying stochastic frontier gravity model.The results shows that the accession of FTA can significantly improve the China's aquatic products export efficiency to RCEP countries.What's more,the improvement of business freedom,government efficiency and government stability will be good for the trade efficiency.However,the increase of the government spending and the improvement of the trade freedom and financial freedom is not conducive to the improvement of the export efficiency.To boost the trade efficiency of China's aquatic products export to RCEP countries,we should con-sider trade regime environment and social and economic system of the destination country and we should strengthen the integration with the global economy and trade relationship between China and RCEP.
