Pucheng Paper Cutting is one of the oldest traditional folk arts in China, which is deeply loved by the public. In 2014,it was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage projects. The unique geographical location makes Pucheng Paper Cuttings unique. In terms of craftsmanship,it has the artistic characteristics of integrating north and south, highlighting the combination of calligraphy and painting in appearance, and having a full composition in the pattern, with a majority of single patterns. However, with the changes of the times, the development of Paper Cuttings in Pucheng is encountering many obstacles, which affects the inheritance and de-velopment of this art. Therefore,in order to better inherit the Paper Cuttings of Pucheng,it is of great significance to introduce Paper Cut-tings into the art classroom of primary schools. This is beneficial for enriching the teaching of school art courses, cultivating students'hands-on abilities, enhancing their sense of identification with traditional Chinese art,and also helping to enhance the cultural confidence of the Chinese nation.
