A Brief Study on Zhu Xi's Inscription of"The First Mountain and Stream"
Zhu Xi's footprints throughout his life were scattered south of the Yangtze River.There are many inscriptions left in the places he passed by.Among them,the number of inscriptions on"The First Mountain and Stream"is the highest.Currently,there are 8 places in Fujian,2 places in Zhejiang,and 1 place in Guangdong that can be found in historical materials,literature records,and local ti-tles;In addition,there are still 3 areas to be verified,and 2 areas have been confirmed to be non Zhu Xi's personal questions.Zhu Xi had a special fondness for"The First Mountain and Stream",which was influenced by his father Zhu Song.It was also closely related to his childhood living environment,his practice of Neo-Confucianism,and political setbacks in his later years.
