In the face of wealth inequality and economic development issues, the distribution system should not only achieve fair dis-tribution,but also improve efficiency. The Rawls principle of justice and the theory of common prosperity both reflect beneficial explo-rations of these two issues, and their measures share similarities. At the same time, the theory of common prosperity goes beyond the prin-ciples of Rawls justice in four aspects:people-centered philosophy, emphasis on wealth gap, emphasis on spiritual wealth, and emphasis on consultation,co-construction,and sharing.Dialectically analyzing the two can help us understand the current national policy on com-mon prosperity and further promote social stability and development.
