Countermeasures against Problems Related to the Protection of Natural Resources in China's Forest Parks
Forest park is a form of forest management,and the natural resources within the park are not only the basis for its construc-tion,but also the purpose of its construction.The protective development and utilization of natural resources is the driving force for the sustainable development of forest parks.By reviewing the development of China's forest parks,this paper points out their existing defi-ciencies in utilizing natural resources,including blind development,featureless tourism products,imperfect laws and regulations,and weak public awareness of protection,which,in turn,restrict the sustainable development of the forest parks.To wipe out the deficiencies,this paper,after classifying the the natural resources in forest parks,puts forward a couple of measures including correctly handling the rela-tionship between forest park development and natural resource protection,developing tourism products of distinctive features based on the characteristics of natural resources in forest parks,improving relevant laws on natural resource protection,and promoting the participation of the public in protecting natural resources in forest parks.
