An Analysis of the Strategies for Increasing the Amount of Paper Books Borrowed by University Libraries Based on Empirical Surveys:Taking Fujian Normal University Libraries as an Example
In recent years,the amount of paper books borrowed from university libraries has been declining precipitously.Based on the survey and interview,the current reading situation and reading habits of the students,this paper puts forward a plan for improving the bor-rowing amount of college students'paper books from the aspects of perfecting the system of encouraging students to read,developing col-orful reading promotion activities,and improving the service quality of readers in the library.The paper also introduces the specific mea-sures taken by the Fujian Normal University Library to increase readers'borrowing of paper books from the above three aspects.
