Combining with the European Union's EN45545 fire prevention standard system,the paper focuses on the certification requirements to the fire prevention control and design of materials and components used in diesel-electric powerpacks of shunting locomotives exported to Deutsche Bahn in Berlin.It also provides typical cases and design suggestions related to fire prevention design.And feasibility verification were carried out through fire resistance tests.
