Development of High-Power Diesel Burner for Automobile
With the restriction of increasingly strict NOx emission regulation for commercial trucks,it is especially important to deal with low temperature NO,emission.It developed a high-power diesel burner system to heat the exhaust quickly and to make the SCR inlet tem-perature quickly reach the urea starting temperature for cold starting.It introduced the details of system development solutions and key components development.With STAR-CCM+software simulate firing and burning of the optimized burner,it particularly analyzed temperature distribution,fuel hanging,soot distribution,combustion efficiency and back pressure in combustion state.In the end,according to bench test,NOx conversion efficiency achieved to 97.9%in cold-start WHTC,and heating capacity and heating rate of burner were far exceeding other thermal management technologies,moreover,the fuel consumption had certain advantages.
