Simulation Analysis on Damping Characteristics of Common Rail Injector Armature
The armature is the most important part in the injector,which can affect the performance of the injector significantly.Taking a certain fuel injector as the research object,the influence of damping gap on the seating process was studied in detail using the CFD method.The calculation results show that:in the early seating,damping force is small due to the damping gap,in the late seating,damping force increases rapidly.When the damping gap is less than 0.050 mm,the armature will be larger damping force,the bottom surface area of the armature will increase,the damping force will increases.The parallel degree of damping gap which is on the lower end face increase,the uniformity of damping force will reduce in the peripheral direction of the armature.
