Research on Data of OBD with Different Acquisition Frequencies of Heavy-Duty Diesel Vehicle
Comparing the data collected by on-board diagnostic(OBD)terminals of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and the measurement data of portable emission measurement system(PEMS)equipment,it studies the influence of different acquisition frequencies of OBD terminals on the data accuracy. The results show that when the OBD terminal acquisition frequency is 1 Hz,the vehicle speed, fuel flow, intake flow,NOx,engine speed, net output torque, friction torque, coolant temperature and exhaust temperature are consistent with the mea-sured data of PEMS.As the OBD terminal acquisition frequency decreases, the data consistency of fuel flow, net output torque and coolant temperature remains good,so the data storage of the terminal platform can be reduced by reducing the acquisition frequency of these parameters. However the data consistency of vehicle speed, intake flow,NOx,engine speed, friction torque and exhaust temperature will become very poor,it is recommended to maintain a high acquisition frequency.
