Flow profile of the Ningxia reach in Yellow River with 2012 flood
Flow profile of the Ningxia reach in Yellow River with 2012 flood is studied based on flood series data in 1934-2010 at Anningdu hydrological station.Comprehensive roughness n is determined by river topography,riverbed composition,beach plants identified in each reach.Comprehensive roughness n is 0.020to 0.034 in Weining reach,and 0.018 to 0.034 in Bluestone reach.Taking into account the effects of crossing building on flood level,and the predicted results of sediment,flow profiles are calculated from downstream to upstream,including different frequency design flood,2020 design flow profile,and flow profile in construction period.The results show that flow profiles agree better with the status quo of river conditions,as the flood series data including 2012 flood.
