Study on riverbed evolution in Heihe city section of the Heilongjiang River
Heihe urban section of the Heilongjiang River is affected by natural and human factors, and the ri-verbed evolution is complex. The Mann-Kendall trend test method and the double cumulative curve method were used to analyze the change trend of water and sediment processes.Based on measured hydrological and sediment data, the stability of riverbed and the change of erosion and deposition were quantitatively studied. The results show that the river section belongs to the low sediment river. The annual runoff and sediment dis-charge above the Jieya River estuary decrease with time. The annual runoff and sediment transport upstream of the Jieya River outlet show a decreasing trend over time, while there is no significant trend in the annual runoff downstream of the Jieya River outlet. In the natural state, the shoreline and thalweg of the river reach are basi-cally stable, and the erosion and deposition of the riverbed is little. With a cycle of about 10 years, the erosion and deposition balance can be achieved.Under the influence of human activities and tributary inflows, the riv-er sections from Heihe Water Level Station to the Changfa Island are longitudinally unstable. It is predicted to cause the changes of bankline in the unprotected islands.
